Trees

This is the next in my abstract series. There is a disconect between the top and the bottom of this piece. I think it would have worked better with the top croped off or the bottom off.

New Direction

It has been a long time but I am back in it. I broke out the supplies and started painting/drawing again. I have become interested in shapes and colors. I never done abstracts in the past so this is a new direction for me. Any comments are welcome. thanks.

I know it has been a while since my last post. I moved then tore my meniscus so I have been out of action for a bit. Now to get the ball rolling again I am getting back into charcoals. This piece is about 8" x 14" and 100% charcoal.
