Pa and Ma
No this is not my parents. They are two separate photos I got from my reference files. I bought some PICMA Graphic 2 pens. They have archival, waterproof inks. I used these for the inking. Then added a couple of drops of india ink.
The pens worked great. I can work fast and loose. I then added the watercolor. 1/4 sheet hot pressed.

Hi Randy, Just stopped in to see what you're up to. I admire your drawing, pen work and painterly approach to watercolor. I see lots of character in your lines that seem to bring "Pa and Ma" alive!
Randy these are really wonderful. So much expression in their faces. I do see just a touch of lime in them. :)
