Hey there - you don't know me from Adam, but I thought I'd ask you a question. There was once a web site at "mermbut.com" that had a fantastic comic on a very large HTML page. It involved scrolling to follow the footprints in sand and seeing where the person had fallen down, written a name, and so on.
The site is gone, but I came across your name in relationship to it and wondered if you could tell me if it has moved or is just lost in the ether somewhere. Assuming you have any idea what I'm talking about. :)
yeah, that was me. Thanks for the compliment on the comic. The mermbut site has been down for a while now. I have been focusing my energies on painting. I may have that comic backed up somewhere. It was also up at http://www.clickwheel.net/ It is a place where you could download comics to your ipod.

As I recall, Scott McCloud linked to it from his blog. That's how I first came across it.
Yes, Scott Mccloud did have a link to it. He was/is a huge fan of that sort of comic. Good luck with the re-assemble.
