I forgot how much I don't enjoy painting watercolors on newspaper. But that part of the process is done. On to acrylics.

Hi Randy, I've never tried watercolor on newspaper. What does it do? Does it mix with the ink and smear? It looks like you have a soft, multicolored under-painting. I'm looking forward to seeing how you develop this one.
It doesn't smear the ink, it just soaks the watercolor right in so you can't work it like on watercolor paper. Also it soaks it right off the brush so I am constantly going back for more paint. I like the results and it takes some getting used to the process.
