I wasn't happy with the lack of legs on the gulls, so I added them. Now I think the piece is worse. Maybe I'm just focusing too much on the legs now. Oh well, can't win them all.
I didn't notice missing legs in the first one. Now at least one on the left seems to answer to "Lucky." If you are going to obsess, maybe you should be painting a sixth leg somewhere, preferably on the left, but who am I to judge?

I think the legs are sort of growing on me...or on the gulls. Because they're not solid dark, they're looking OK/fine. It's a fun composition!
