Man can not live on art alone. He needs ice fishing too. I went out for the first time this year. Only a couple of hours and only a couple of fish. But it sure was fun. Here are the pictures of the two monsters I caught.
Home computer is still down. I thought about scanning the pieces at work but then had a better idea. I could just take pictures then upload them at work. So that is what I did.
Here are the ten 5" x 7" pieces that I will be selling at building blocks.
Acrylics now applied. You can see my tools of choice in the bottom right. A wire brush, beer bottle and a wash cloth. Next step is to glaze the fruits and vegetables to make them pop a little.
Today I printed a bunch of fruit and vegetables from the net. then with my trusty ink dropper I made the drawings. No pre-penciling, just straight out inking.
This is my latest project. Inspired from my friend Whalehead King. I'm painting a bunch of very small (5" x 7") canvas boards and selling them at cut rate prices. I've already found a store to sell them, site unseen. Here is my start. I'm pasting newspaper on them all then paint on that. More picts as I proceed.
Thought I would do a work in progress post. Also I like this piece as it is and wanted to show it before I ruin it. Right now it is ink and watercolor. Acrylics to come.
