Part two

Sat down to add the water color. I wanted to use a Burnt Sienna and Lemon Yellow mix. But, I was out of burnt sienna. Upon further inspection I was out of burnt umber and cadmium red as well. I quick trip to the art store and I was in business. My son helped with this stage. I handed him the brush and he splattered away.

I'm back

The hiatus is over. I've taped down a half sheet of watercolor paper and started a new piece. You can see the reference in the upper left corner.
