Zounds!
I know it has been a while. I have been working on my christmas card. I couldn't post it here as people who were receiving one check in here. I have been a little bored with my drippy art so wanted to try something different. So I broke out my bamboo dip pen. I am not happy with the results at all. I was having a difficult time with the pen holding ink and could not work the way I wanted to. Here is what I have so far. I was going to add watercolor, but may not and move on to something else. But who knows, maybe tomorrow I will start to like it and keep going with it.

Hi Randy, This is inspiring! I have a bamboo pen I've never used. Don't know why. I like what you do with pen and ink; it's got action!
Thanks Peggy. I guess the results weren't what I had in mind so I was hard on myself. I'm going to add water color and see if I like it better.
Oh, and the other thing. I didn't have enough in in the jar to properly dip the pen, so I was getting frustrated at constantly having to dip.

This looks promising nice pen work, I know what you mean about not enough ink in the jar I sometimes run out of stuff somewhere around 2 in the morning after all the stores are closed :0)!!
A couple of comments to add
1.Thank You for placing me on your blog roll.
2.I would like to see how this works out with some watercolors on it but only if you want too Do not put any watercolors on it just because of my request.

I will put watercolors on it. That was my intent in the first place. I just got a little frustrated over the piece, but I am over that now :-)
