Ridgefield Arts Council
A few weeks ago I was asked to become a board member of the Ridgefield Arts Council. I accepted. Then I had to be approved by the board itself. Once that was okay I then had to be vetted by the town and then be interviewed by the town board of selectmen. That happened last night and I was approved. Woo hoo! Now I have to be sworn in by the town clerk and it is all official.

Congratulations Randy! They're luck to have you. I'm most interested in learning about your experience. I've often thought our town needed an arts council. Good luck!
Thanks Peggy. My hometown has a lot of Arts going on. This council was started to promote the arts in our town. It has been around for about ten years I think so I don't know how it got started and such. If you have any specific questions I'll be happy and try to answer them.
