Lime 59

Here is another one in acrylic. I really like working in acrylics. I haven't liked using them in the past. I guess the lime brought it out in me. 11" x 14" canvas board.

Liking your acrylic limes. Are you using fluid acrylics? Finally found the yupo and played a bit with half a sheet. Wow! Wretched was the right word! Will try something more planned this weekend. We'll see!

Ha, I told you about the yupo. I ended up liking it, but it is tough to get used to.

The acrylics I use are heavy body from the tube. I just mix a lot of water with them. I'm going to look into the fluid acrylics. They seem to be something that would work with my style of paining.

After high school art classes, I never used acrylic. I was too snobby. Then I did because my wallet whispered in my ear. Once bitten by the bug I wondered why I was a foolish snob for so long. I won't buy another tube of oils again!

It is like complaining about a Japanese motorcycle. You don't like reliability? Convenience? No maintenace? Efficiency? Twist and go.

The durabiltiy hasn't been proven yet, but even daVinci's murals have faded and had to be reconstructed. Another experimenter with new materials. Good company! Is there an airbrush for Lime 99?
