Lime 72

I made a grid with masking tape. Then I drew the lime in ink with the eye dropper. Then I painted away with watercolors. Let dry, then peal tape. I like the idea but I am not so sure about this piece. My wife thought that thinner tape lines may have looked better.

Amazingly I used to do a lot of masking tape paintings just after college. This is tight and works well with optical illusion dots in the interstices. My second favorite? I'll tell you after #100.

This would have to be one of my favorites. Very arresting.

Thanks everyone. I had my doubts about this one, but the majority rules :-)
