Had a nice long weekend. My daughter and wife marched in our local parade with the girl scouts. Played poker with some friends. I won around $10. Woo hoo!
I kept plugging away at my newest flower pen & Ink. It is very slow going. I scanned in what I have so far. The final size will be 18.5" x 12". What I have so far is about 5" x 12". My original plan was to color it when I was done, but I might let it stand as is.

This is looking good! I tried pen and ink, but could only go as far as to do cartoons. Could never do anything this detailed. When you use color, do you use watercolor?
Thanks Stoy. I used to only work in pen & ink. Then i discovered charcoal and then gravitated to oil painting. I spent a number of years cartooning but I used a brush to ink. I have been using rapidographs or dip pens for fine art.
For color I use watercolor pencils. I tried tube watercolors, but I am not very good at mixing and using them. The watercolor pencils give me much better control.
